Joshua 1:9

What We’re Learning

We’re learning what it means to have courage - to be brave enough to do what you should do, even when you’re afraid. We’ll study the life of Moses, learning how God helped him have courage even in the midst of great trial.

Moses is born • Exodus 2:1-10

Moses was born at a time when Pharaoh had ordered that all baby boys be killed. Moses’ mother came up with a plan - she put him in a basket and put him in the river. Down the river, Moses was found by a princess, who took in Moses as her own. Moses’ sister, Miriam, had been watching the whole thing, and told the princess she knew someone who could help take care of the baby. Miriam brought her mother to the princess, where she raised baby Moses.
